Irina Tarabrina. Here is the trying baloon of the Lingva class, the group of my students, who only learn some basics about wiki now. www.pl22biysklingvaclass.pbwiki.com

Zhenya Kirichenko. i visited dvolver site to make movies with my students, class 7, 10, 11. they had a homework to create their movies according to the topics they study. not all the students did the task but i 've got several movies on the topic Job for life (New Millennium 11). I believe it's just for fun! students were not serious. But it's nice to have tried to use something new. hope to get more results in the future.

Irina Tarabrina.

1.I have asked the computer programmer and the computer studies teacher at our educational institution, if they have ever heard of wiki. they positively heard of wikipedia, but they barely ever used it in their practical work teaching the students to work on the Internet.

Interesting. I feel like I am a computer guru. :)

2. I have also asked some of my friends and colleagues abroad, if they have heard of wiki and here is what they shared (I cut and pasted extracts from their letters to me).

Mack Morse, a priniciple of Shattuck Middle and High School, Oklahoma:

"I have tried to find the URL that led me to the teacher's blog for Biysk.

I'm not sure but I think it was the biyskenglishteachers.pbwiki.com website.

It is not coming up in the search engine right now. I also found you at

biysklingvaclass.pbwiki.com. I am going to have to look into the pbwiki.com site. That looks like a good way to share information among members of a group."

Lynn Hansen, A teacher of language Arts at Sartell Middle School, Minnesota, USA; I am not at all familiar with Wiki, but it sounds like very user friendly technology for sharing information. I can ask our tech expert at school about it. I'm not sure what you attached, but I am not able to open the page. The screen just comes up black. Perhaps I don't have

the appropriate software to read it. ??

3. The way to add files and pictures to wiki page is not at all a complicated one, but I still have to learn a lot about it all, I am sure. As a result I have added all the pictures of our group of digital teachers to the wiki page.

4. It was easy to create my own wiki page. I greatly enjoyed it. my students liked it too. I have also created a blog that would tell about the project of Lingva Class: Intercultural dialogue that I coordinate at the PL 22.
